Program!
Join us this summer for EPL’s Summer Library Program! The theme this year is All Together Now and we have some fun programs planned throughout the summer. The program runs June 26 – August 4, registration starts June 21.
- Participate by tracking your reading, completing activities and/or attending library programs.
- Earn free books and entries to win prizes, gift cards and Ellsworth Bucks.
- Access our summer challenge online at ellsworthlibrary.beanstack.org or through the Beanstack Tracker App on your mobile devices.
- If you prefer you can participate using a paper log. Paper logs can be picked up at the library.
- Paper logs due by August 10.

- Follow the prompts to get yourself and your family members registered for the Summer Reading Challenges
- Start logging your reading and completing activities

Using the Beanstack Tracker App
- Download the Beanstack app (available through the App Store or Play Store)
- Select Get Started
- Does your library already use Beanstack? Select Yup!
- Type in Ellsworth Public Library
- Select Don’t Have an Account? Sign Up at the bottom of the screen.
- Follow the prompts to get yourself and your family members registered for the Summer Reading Challenges
- Start logging your reading and completing activities

Summer Challenges by Age Group
0-5 For each story you read or have read to you cross off one box. Reach 50 and earn a free book. Reach 75* and earn a chance to win prizes. Reach 100 and you earn a second free book. Complete two activities in each category. Earn a chance to win prizes for each box completed.
6-11 For each 15 minutes you read or are read to cross off one box. Reach 600 minutes and earn a free book. Reach 900* minutes and earn a chance to win prizes. Reach 1200 minutes and you earn a second free book. Complete two activities in each category. Earn a chance to win prizes for each box completed.
12-18 For each 20 minutes you read cross off one box. Reach 10 hours (600 minutes) and earn a free book. Reach 900* minutes to earn an entry to win Amazon gift cards. Reach 1200* minutes and earn a second free book. Complete two activities in each category. Earn a chance to win one of three $20 Amazon gift cards for each box completed.
19+ For each 20 minutes you read cross off one box. Reach 10 hours (600 minutes) and earn your first entry into the prize drawing. Reach 900* minutes to earn a second entry. Reach 1200* minutes and earn a third entry. Complete two activities in each category. Earn a chance to win one of five $25 Ellsworth Bucks certificates, good at participating local businesses, for each box completed.
This is worded for the paper logs, but can be applied to the Beanstack tracker app too.

Entertainment and activities provided by the library and other local sponsors. The Ellsworth Lions Club will provide free food and you can visit the Farmer’s Market. Random Acts of Kindness will be hosting mini golf on August 24.
