The Ellsworth Public Library and Prescott Public Library are pleased to welcome New York Times bestselling author and Emmy Award–winning television writer Matt Goldman for a special Meet the Author event.
Goldman is best known for his acclaimed Nils Shapiro mystery series and a range of bestselling standalone thrillers. Before turning to fiction, he built an impressive television writing career, contributing to hit shows including Seinfeld, Ellen, The New Adventures of Old Christine, and Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency.
His novels are known for blending suspense, humor, and sharp character work, often set in the Upper Midwest and featuring richly layered mysteries that keep readers turning pages.
During this program, Goldman will discuss his writing journey, creative process, and upcoming releases, including Liar’s Creek (2026), The Prohibited (2026), Cold Secrets (2026), the newest installment in the Nils Shapiro series, and Fools Landing (2027). A Q&A session will follow the presentation, with time to meet the author.
